What Clients Say

Dame Vera Lynn Trust

As Chairman of the Dame Vera Lynn Trust for Children with Cerebral Palsy, I am delighted to provide an endorsement for Dudley Johnson as a fundraiser.

Dame vera Lynn TrustI worked with Dudley from January 2002 to June 2006, when he was employed as the Fundraiser for the Dame Vera Lynn Trust for Children with Cerebral Palsy. The Trust’s primary concern is the running and funding of The Dame Vera Lynn School for Parents, which caters for families with cerebral palsy children from the age of six months to five years

Dudley was trained as a fundraiser by a professional fundraising company specifically for The Trust and was responsible from the outset in designing a fund raising strategy. He produced a very effective grant application procedure for The Trust and, through his communication skills with various organisations and corporate bodies, including the House of Lords and the media, he was able to attract funding and awareness for The Trust.

In addition, Dudley organised a number of very successful fundraising events and was the architect of our legacy fundraising appeal. Always enthusiastic, Dudley faced all the demands of fundraising in a positive and constructive manner.

His exceedingly competent IT skills, honesty, humour and dedication to the job in hand are all attributes that have served The Trust in a most efficacious manner.

Captain Edwin Bates, MCMI

The Marylebone Project for homeless women had the good fortune to find James Marlow and to appoint him as its fundraiser.

In a very short time he was able very realistically to assess the needs, working practices and culture of the organisation.

I have every confidence in James’ ability to take The Church Army forward with trust funding for our Welsh projects and his experience at Marylebone is evidence of that.
